The Herefish script stores a single cookie which stores the Herefish Candidate ID in the form of hf_id=12345. That cookie allows Herefish to track page the candidate's page views, page interactions and load content on the site (specifically surveys). This information can then be actioned inside of Herefish to allow the Herefish user to track candidate or sales contact activity on their website and effectively communicate with them based on that activity.
Wallace Myers uses Google Analytics with Adwords tracking analytics activated, to track usage statistics for the site. This data is used to analyse how frequently people visit the site, how the website is found, and which pages are most frequently viewed. One of the main advertising cookies on non-Google sites is named ‘IDE‘ and is stored in browsers under the domain doubleclick.net. Another is stored in google.com and is called ‘ANID’.
