Our client - a leading food production company are committed to producing high-quality baked goods is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Fitter to join their dynamic team in Co. Wexford.

Duties

• Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair production lines and plant equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement projects to enhance equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
• Project Management: Lead plant upgrade projects and customer projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Maintenance Planning: Ensure all necessary spares are in stock and organize external vendors as needed.
• Training: Assist machine operators with setup, fault correction, and adjustments to optimize performance.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including transit areas and workshops.
• Compliance: Support training and development in cross-skilling and job-related competencies.
• Coordination: Supervise external contractors to ensure adherence to company standards.

Criteria

• Qualifications: Trades qualified in mechanical with electrical knowledge.
• Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance environment.
• Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Attitude: Team player with a proactive approach and flexibility with shift patterns.
• Development: Ambitious and interested in self-development.
