As a design coordinator you will be working for a company well established in Cork, they work in the European market across steel framing, cladding and curtain walling. Having purpose built facilities, they manage the manufacturing, project planning, estimating and design of their products. Being a leader in the space they have had sustainable growth year on year with more for the year ahead. Due to increase in order book they now have a need to grow an already established design team with intermediates and seniors.

Your New Role

As a design coordinator you will work closely with the design manager, determining resources for multiple projects and timelines. You will come up with design solutions, work closely with procurement on lead times to ensure projects run on time with no delays. There will be a degree of mentoring expected as you help junior designers and graduates coming through. The company has a culture of continuous improvement, and actively encourage staff members to come up with solutions and ideas to better processes and efficiency's in the design process.

Job Requirements

Our client requires a third level qualification in Architectural Technology or façade / cladding experience would be a distinct advantage and ideally you should have a strong understanding on Irish and UK projects. Experience using Revit will be required with full proficiency. You should be able to show technical proficiency with excellent planning skills.
