Training & Development Specialist
Our client is one of Ireland's leading luxury hospitality and retail groups. On their behalf, I am recruiting a Training & Development Specialist for a newly created position. This new & exciting hands-on role is pivotal in re-invigorating the customer service experience.
Our client is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. They believe in empowering the frontline team members through innovative training programs and collaborative learning environments.
The successful candidate will be a key stakeholder in enhancing the learning experiences of frontline team members.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Training:
- Learning Plan Development: Develop & communicate a learning plan that meets the needs of the business and our team members.
- Interactive Content Creation: Develop engaging training materials, including graphics, animations, videos, and live demonstrations
- Program Delivery: Design & deliver training modules & programs tailored to business needs
- Onboarding Support: Ensure the delivery of an engaging onboarding and induction process to all team members.
- SOP Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas of their stores to ensure team members know what is required of them in their job role and are provided the skills & knowledge to deliver in their role
- Compliance Training: Ensure 100% compliance with all mandatory training, such as Health & Safety and Business Conduct Policy.
- Dashboard Management: Create and manage monthly dashboards for tracking and reporting learning activities to senior leaders.
- Effectiveness Evaluation: Use metrics and feedback to continually refine and enhance learning experiences.
Talent Development:
- Development Programs: Collaborate with stakeholders to create and deliver development programs for continuous frontline colleague growth
- Program Coordination: Manage the participation of colleagues in relevant internal programs.
Ideal candidate
- Operational experience: 2 to 3 years' experience creating and delivering training using blended methodology, including digital, virtual and in person. Ideally within Hospitality / Retail sectors. This role would also suit a strong operator with 5 years' experience wishing to transition into a training and development role.
- Technical Skills: ideally proficiency with eLearning software (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other training tools. Will provide technical skills training if required.
